Red Apple Lipstick

I've been needing new lipsticks and when I heard about Red Apple Lipstick I couldn't resist. Their lipsticks are gluten free, paraben free, moisturizing, and very pigmented. I love how they last a pretty decent amount of time and they are so moisturizing. I've never tried a lipstick that makes my lips feel so fantabulous! Yes, fantabulous is a word in my dictionary!

The lipsticks apply so easy and they literally glide on my lips. The feeling is as amazing as you legs rubbing against your pants after shaving and putting lotion on them! I know I'm not the only one who enjoys that feeling. After using it my lips feel like I've just applied chap stick- silky smooth. The colors are very vibrant, a little is perfect for day time and it's buildable so you can add more lipstick for a more pigmented burst.

I was sent two products; their new shade Cranberry Magic and Coral Crush. These shades are gorgeous. There lipsticks are free of so many harmful ingredients and perfect for people with allergies.

If you are anything like me then you have your favorite scent. You probably have your date night scent, your home scent, your work scent and so on. They might even be the same scent. I know I love a little something different every once in a while and I can't wait to see who the lucky winner of this perfume will be. GOOD LUCK!

I haven't been able to try many top of the line perfumes in my life time, but when I get the chance, it is like early Christmas to me. Especially when they come in absolutely gorgeous bottles that I can display on my dresser like they are prized works of art. I've only tried one other high end brand and I can say the bottle was extremely boring compared to this one.

Daily Makeup Routine

What is your daily makeup routine like? Since I go to school full time I tone my makeup way down, usually just foundation, powder, and mascara. When I go to work I have more time to do my makeup, so I usually do eyeshadow, bronzer, blush, and even eyeliner on top of my daily routine.

To start my daily routine I cleanse my face with Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Wash, which I got to try thanks to influenster! I love how refreshing this feels, my face feels soft and clean. It also smells delicious! I then move onto moisturizing, priming, apply foundation, powder, blush, and bronzer to my face.

CoverGirl Flamed Out Mascara

If I was stranded on an island the one makeup product that I couldn't live without would have to be mascara! I refuse to leave the house without it. I've tried so many different brands from drugstore to highend and recently I've found one that I love.

I've recently found the CoverGirl Flamed Out Mascara in water resistant and I was hesitant since it isn't waterproof and CoverGirl isn't highly regarded concerning their mascaras. While I won't wear this mascara swimming I've had no issues with it running if I happen to get a little water on it. Ahem, that does not mean I'm going to be out dancing in the rain with this mascara which I love doing. WINTER IS COMING!!! 

iFabbo SF Con!

So I recently had a chance to go to the iFabbo blogging conference in San Francisco on October 12 and I have to say it was awesome! My best friend and I won tickets from the awesome Marlena at Makeup Geek. The day started a little crazy as we live 2:30 hours away and we woke up late. After waking up at 5:22 we were in a mad dash to get ready, we woke up 22 minutes after we were supposed to leave. We quickly raced through the house to brush our teeth, change our clothes, and grab everything for doing our makeup once we got there; all while trying so hard not to wake up the children that refused to go to bed until 1:30 am. If you are parents you understand how important this last step is!

We were finally on the road! Chugging our energy drinks just to stay awake while driving in the early morning and singing to our favorite songs on the radio. I was so excited once I saw the Bay Bridge! It was going to be my first time driving on the new bridge! I lived in San Francisco for two years while going to college and I can say I miss it. We arrived at the parking garage ahead of time at 7:45am thanks to my lead foot and were in a mad dash to apply our makeup in the darkly lit car. I had my 4 different makeup brushes out-foundation, powder, blush, and bronzer and kept dropping them. Oh how I longed for just one do it all brush. I threw on some navy blue eyeliner to go with my eyes and called it good enough. Since we woke up late, I was unable to straighten my hair and since it was up the day before that was the only option I had remaining.

iFaboo blogging conference in SF

 

So I know I've been missing for awhile, but I just wanted to share with you guys a lovely blogging conference that I really want to go to. It's called iFaboo, it is an event specifically for bloggers and brands. They are hosting it in San Francisco on October 12, 2013. The tickets cost $100 and that includes lunch, a cocktail party, and a goodie bag valued at $350! 

This event will discuss topics like how to increase your traffic, how to monetize your blog, how to create a media kit, how to develop better relationships with agencies and more! This is surely a perfect event if you live on the west coast and a great way to help you with your blog if you are unsure of the next step. I'm super excited that Marlena, the founder of Makeup Geek will be one of the guest speakers! She will be talking about how to better reach more people on social media. Zoya Pixie Dust Review

It's almost spring time and you know what that means? Well, it doesn't really mean anything but I'm using it as an excuse to polish my nails all the time with Zoya! I've recently had the opportunity to fall in love with Zoya's Pixie Dust line. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it is a matte, textured, sparkly nail polish. The colors are very muted down and are extremely beautiful. I'm in love with the fact that all of the colors are appropriate to wear to work

For those of you who have never heard of textured nail polish, you are not alone. This is the first time I have tried textured nail polish and it definitely won't be my last. Normally having a bump on my nails drives me crazy, but the nail polish isn't like that. Yes, you can feel it, but it isn't extremely noticeable and the color's are so worth it. I love sparkly nails!
